Risk-led. Security-first. Built for real-world resilience.

Founders Statement

We built Rue Taxi to solve a problem we could see clearly in our own communities.

Passengers struggling to find available taxis.
Drivers losing time and income through inefficiency.
Local firms operating in isolation while customer expectations continue to rise.

At the same time, larger national platforms such as Uber are beginning to move into rural and semi-rural areas—bringing scale, convenience, and on-demand availability.

We recognised the risk early.

If local transport networks don’t evolve, they risk being replaced.

Rue is our response to that.

Built on a foundation of risk management, security, and real-world experience across nuclear and policing environments, our goal is simple:

  • Strengthen, not replace, local operators
  • Improve availability and utilisation across the network
  • Keep value, control, and opportunity within the local community
